I love fair season!!!
Thanks for the pics! In CT fair season is not too far away! That's when I really settle in to that fall is coming. I love fairs espically all the deep fried fair food! Hopefully I can go to few this year.
I love that the fair continues to focus on the agriculture of our area. So many fairs in the area have let it become secondary.

My daughter is in 4-H now that we have moved to the country, and we now have a very busy fair season ahead.
My boyfriend was an active 4-H kid, and found that a lot of fairs had faded away over the years, or were more about rides and fried food than the spirit of farming and rural life. In the past few years a few fairground in the province have been totally re-vamped, with big new buildings and renewed interest in livestock, crops, and home crafts. I can't wait to be a part of it! (besides, her calf is a sure winner! Rosebud, the angry Angus is gonna get some ribbions with my kiddo, fer sure!)
