get your jamie on....
Audible.com is having an Outlander Sale until Midnight tonight. You can download any book in the series for 7.95, most of them way over 20 hours on your ipod/phone. This is the series so many of us love and josh about. I'm only on book two, but will buy book three tonight in advance at that price!Get Your Jamie Fraser On, Highlanders.

I was just thinking about digging out my copy of Outlander. Love me some Jamie!!
Jamie is the kind of man even I can lust after.
If only all men could be Jamie-like! hmmmmm
I don't know whether I should thank you or yell at you for telling me about this series. I absolutely loved book 1 and I am reading book 2 now.
As for the yelling, my housework and homesteading projects have been getting the short end of the stick thanks to Jamie and the Highlanders....
I read these several years ago and kept wanting to say "Aye" all the time. Loved this series.
Jenna! I was looking on audible and they aren't offering that deal to on my page. What am I missing?
Sara D, I think it was a sale for members, and it ended at midnight, so that might be why you didn't see it. :(
Love reading books. I'm not so much for the Highlander series but I see plenty of other books for me. Hopefully they are not dramatized.
On the audio books you already have, are they dramatized like with music, etc?
HEY they have Sherlock Holmes!!! I'm signing up.
I spend about an hour a day commuting to and from work. I was thinking recently about audio books and how nice it would be for my ride. You just cemented it for me :) Haven't started the 1st one yet, but purchased the 1st 2 books in the series last night...I'm excited, they sound wonderful! Thanks Jenna!
buy all the books; they are fabulous, and the next one is due out this fall, I think ...
my little dog, a westie/shitzu mix, is named for Jaimie; I suppose I should get a little girl and name her Claire .....
I read the Sherlock Holmes years ago, they are a great read, too.
btw, I think you deserve at least 10 credits from Amazon for this recommendation... just sayin~
Hey JulieG no worries, the Outlander series is not dramatized. The reader, Davina Porter, does fabulous accents and voices, but there is no music or anything. It's tastefully produced. I highly recommend it. I've literally been listening to all 7 books in the Outlander series on audio one after another for a portion of each day for going on 5 years now. Excessive? Perhaps. But they make such good homey company while I'm out walking.
If you get a chance you should buy The Outlandish Companion. It's got a glossary, recipes, FAQs and all sorts of stuff about magic and medicine in the 18th century. So awesome! In case you can't tell, I freakin' LOVE this series. :)
