Hi Jenna - How is the hive doing? I am sure you are doing all this..but you might want to feed feed feed the colony. I learnt from mistake that the pollen flow is over (?!) and we need to feed otherwise they won't make it. Also, at this time I was told to add another super on top and move the feeder up to that super. They should have built all the frames in the bottom super by now. Mine didn't. There was still a frame empty...but I listened to the bee-keeper expert teacher. Hope I am able to salvage the colony. Sharing what I learned with you : ). Happy Summer!!!
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

Where are the pictures? The menu? C'mon, that's just mean teasing us like that.
here's a teaser: a winter pig, a friend's homegrown greens, a hand-picked butter crust strawberry pie and a thunderstorm in summer.
Yummm!
I concur—that deserves an AMEN!
Oh that sounds heavenly. Eaten by candlelight I presume. Thunderstorms in Veryork are always fun.
